28: Talk about your fetishes.
I don’t have any real fetishes in the sexual sense of the word. I don’t think I’m “abnormally” attracted to any particular thing.

In the nonsexual sense, I do have an “irrational commitment” to using only certain color/style pens for certain tasks.

10: Talk about the biggest fight you’ve ever had.
At the risk of sounding trite, I don’t think I’ve fought with anyone as largely and as often as I have fought with myself.

Let’s catch up.

My trip to Washington was really fun, a 15 hour drive up to Bellingham followed by several days in a row of running around with my family (parents+brother but also cousins+aunt&uncle and grandma) going to lakes and eating great food was awesome. It was also a nice reminder as to how awesome and beautiful nature is. If you have the opportunity to visit Deception Pass State Park in Washington, DO IT.

My 21st was great, went out with a lil group of people after midnight on Friday night (after an awesome show by Jason & Monica!) and had a couple drinks and remembered how fun Taboo is. My actual birthday involved early morning dance classes, a pedicure, a nap, and probably one of the most fun evenings I’ve ever had with my cousins out in the city. Plus awesome pizza and plenty of photos.

I went back to work at Quickly today after my week off, and it felt good to get back into it. I’m starting to come out of my weird hyper-focused introvert shell and am socializing with customers a little more, which feels nice, actually. I’ve got my transition from Crew Member to Shift Supervisor coming up pretty soon, which is equal parts terrifying and exciting. But if there’s anything I’ve learned so far in 2014, it’s that the mixture of terror and excitement usually means whatever’s causing it is something important and worthwhile.
